Strategic Distribution: We operate distribution centres in Auckland and Christchurch to minimise transportation costs and emissions, ensuring our customers can easily access our products.

Our Products & Practices

Commitment to Recycled Materials in Manufacturing
Our 100% Polyester Insulation is manufactured using a minimum of 45% recycled polyester fibres. These fibres come from post-consumer recycled plastics, such as drink bottles.

By specifying minimum recycled content and having this externally verified by Eco Choice Aotearoa, we’re fostering a recycling culture, and we’re continually looking at ways to increase the recycled content in our products.

Zero Waste Manufacturing
Our 100% Polyester Insulation is manufactured under our Zero Waste policy, and all off-cut manufacturing is reprocessed back into the manufacturing process.

 90% Recycled Glass
Our Premier Glasswool Insulation is made from 90% recycled glass and manufactured under ISO 9001 & ISO 14001 certified Quality and Environmental Management Systems.

NZGBC GreenStar & HomeStar:

Premier Polyester & Glasswool insulation can help a building meet the GreenStar and HomeStar accreditations. The correct specification and use of Premier insulation will support all available ‘points’ for insulation materials.

Recycling Plastic Packaging

Premier offers a take-back and recycling programme for our plastic packaging to help keep it out of the landfill.  Packaging is brought back from sites, consolidated, and sent back to our manufacturing base in Ngaruawahia on our delivery trucks, which are compressed and sent for recycling.

Premier Polyester Insulation packaging is recyclable LDPE 4.

Collaborative Innovation

At Premier, we love to look at things from a different perspective, push boundaries, and adopt new perspectives to minimise environmental impacts throughout the supply and installation process. We welcome the opportunity to collaborate with you on innovative approaches to sustainability. Let’s join forces to make a meaningful difference in our industry and world.
